Learn how to produce music in Ableton over 4 weeks. 

Participants will bring their own laptop and receive a license to download Ableton for free.

The course is very hands-on, with short introductions to various features followed by exercises in Ableton.

The course takes place on 4 consecutive Tuesdays, with intensive tutorials in weeks 1 and 3, and listening / feedback sessions in weeks 2 and 4.

This workshop is free, thanks to support from the Nordea Foundation.

About Sydhavnsbølgen

Sydhavnsbølgen is a community radio station based out of the Frontløberne community center. Songs produced during the course will be, if the producers are open to it, broadcast on the radio.

FAQ

What are the prerequisites for the course? 

This course is for beginners, so essentially none, though any previous experience with music will benefit you.

What if I already have Ableton installed? 

That’s fine - but note that this workshop is for beginners. 

‍

What Language will the course be taught in?

The instructors speak Danish and English and will teach in either, depending on the common language of the group.
